On September 13th, the Mine was granted the permission from MRA to occupy the new contractor camp, after which the new camp was put in use as of September 20th, which was spoken highly of by the occupants.
Butua Camp was used as the contactor camp previously, but the facilities deteriorated dramatically over the years. To create a comfortable and healthy environment for the contractors, the Company decided to build a new camp to replace the old one.
The new contractor camp is next to the Accommodation gate #2, with total area of around 500m2. There are 88 rooms and 1 laundry in the camp, and every room is installed with two beds, one air conditioner, one bathroom and other basic facilities. The new camp can accommodate 176 persons.
Currently, the employees from Raibus Security Services and Raibus Engineering Services are living in the new camp. “I thank Ramu NiCo for providing so comfortable rooms to us, I’m very happy that I can live in a room with brand-new air conditioner.” Catherine, a female employee from Raibus Engineering Services said.
