In a small but significant gathering at Ramu NiCo headquarters in Madang, Ramu NiCo and Raibus Security Services on Wednesday 7th September, 2022 signed a security contract valued at K23.7 million for provision of security services, which the firm provides to the three (3) Ramu Nickel Project sites . The event was witnessed by senior management from both parties.
It is Ramu NiCo’s expectation to see the success of landowner companies during the life of the Ramu Nickel and Cobalt project, to create business participating opportunities viable for landowners, as well as laying solid foundations towards the success of operating business. The signing will create more than 200 jobs for landowners as well as the locals of the impact communities.
Charlie Hu, General Manager, Corporate Affairs thanked the Raibus Management for their support in providing security services for RNML and hopes that Raibus can improve company management and security skill going into the future. Jason Jia, RNML’s Assistant President was also appreciative of the security services provided over the years, has pledged to work together and build a better corporate relationship.
Matthew Dengua, General Manager, RAIBUS Security Services thanked Ramu NiCo for the support so far and has also pledged for improvement in their services accordingly. Chairman of Raibus Limited, Moses Kumura, praised Ramu NiCo for continued business opportunities spanning over ten years with much cooperation and relationship that also did remarkable impact development of landowners and employments as well as royalties to assist communities in health and education.
